Haha awesome! My mates just got a MK2 estate that he's decided to rebuild. Its currently a 1300 but looking to get a bit more power. He's been told a 1600 pinto would be best?

If you're gonna go 1600 you're probably better off with a 1600 x-flow, bore it out to a 1760 and stick a wild cam in there, its what mines running! If you're gonna go down the pinto route its 2.0/2.1/2.2/2.3 or nothing really!!

Cheers guys!

Whats the x flow out of?

escort, they came in 1300 and 1600, the block on both is slightly different iirc, 1600 is a 711m block and can be bored out to about 1760, if youre lucky you can find a south african crossflow block, think theyre coded ***AX or something like that, they can almost go to 1980cc, theres a guy with one in a mk1 escort estate running low 13's!
