quick question (ball joint and brakes)

so im having do replace ball joint and do me brakes at the same time, before i give time to doing it just a couple of questions,

1.) is the ball joint rivetted in like on the ren 19's or is it a couple on bolts?

2.) is the brake caliper piston a push back one or one of them nobby twist back ones which you have to use a "special" tool for lol. AKA G-CLAMP

goody goody gum drops, the garage that did the mot tryed to say it would be £300 for disks n pads to be replaced and ball joint replaced, nearly pissed my self at the stupidity of there labour times, my 4 year old nephew can do the work quicker than there quoted labour time! 6 hours! o dear... lol

Lol I did me front discs other day, Brembos and Ferrodo pads. Took me about 45 mins
