Quick Question RE fitting rear disks!?

Right, just waiting for the paint to dry on the brakes then im just gonna put it all back together and hope for best. I haven't broke the ABS sensor as I can see it slightly if i look behind the disk.

They also spin fine with the wheel on and they don't wobble either.

Brake fluid is coming from some where. Dunno wtf iv done or how iv done it. Way in over my head, should never have bothered attempting to work on it myself. So a £130 job has potentially turned into a fortune.

don't give up luke just get her back together like i said an give her spin then take her garage its only a matter of having a new seal popped in don't let it get to you too much pal

The rear calipers often leak, hence I've got two sat in my garage. Don't get disheartened mate, it'll be something and nothing I'm sure :)

Just wanna get in moving so I can drive it to somewhere.

Gonna do what dan says I think. Just waiting for step dad to get back as il no doubt break something else.

i usually build the pads up in caliper carrier before i put them back on an fiddle about with them on car. Don't let it get to you too much pal i know how you feel things go wrong for me on cars an i'm a mechanic don't get to stressed cause it only makes the job harder keep ya cool

yeah you'll have to bleed them pal simple job 2 man job one on pedal one with spanner. have you actually removed the whole caliper though?

has it actually come off or have you just split it? thats prob jus crap from behind thats come out dont worry too much bang it all back together an pump brakes an take some time inspecting the said caliper by the sounds of it you have only split the dust sheild so it shouldn't really leak now

Right, all sorted and back together.

Went out and gave her a blast, had a traffic light grand prix moment with a really old impreza too :D

No wheel bearing noise to hear at 70mph+

No lights up on the dash

Handbrake holds a lot better than my old pads/disks did.

70mph+ to 0MPH Nearly rips your face off still.

I would say im okay!
