well, I only mentioned owning a slow car before, i didnt mention that mine was fast! ;)

Id swap mine for my old 1.3 8v 309 anyday :p

lol.... I dunno.... I was in my mates skyline which has 400 bhp.... soon as he started booting it I thought.... mmmm........ needs at least 600 im used to this.....

im sure the 206 quicksilver comes commonly with a 1.6.......mind you, just done a search and it seems they are 1.4s...........weird! my mate has an lx 1.4, more torque than clio but i wouldnt say he would beat me...........prob the weight of his 16" and other crap like that!!

All pug quicksilver models are 1360cc TU engines that produce 75bhp and 90 ft/lb torque. 0-60 is around the 12 second mark, and top speed is 109mph book figure whether it be a 106 or a 206.

Hope that clears up any doubts.

Unlucky.

Anyway the 1.2 is a 16v, its hardly a fake, i just think people new to the scene dont know much about the real 16v. It does say on the side of the car 16V so i dont think its a crime for someone to call it a clio 16v. You valver owners are starting to sound like snobs ;)

Yeah, the 1.2 is obviously has an engine with 16-Valves! But so do all the 4-cylinder petrol models in the current Clio range - and you dont find many 172 owners calling their car a "16v"! Its basically for the kudos effect, and I dont have a problem with that. But it gets very confusing when people say they have a 16v and then get all sorts of Valver-specific knowledge in return. Its a waste of all our time!!;)

The 1.2 isnt sold specifically as the "16v" of the range, whereas the Clio 16v was. My car has injection, which was once the mark of a performance car. Now all cars have it, but I dont call it a Clio "Injection"!!

lol, it screams, delivers peak power at over 7000 revs and pulls like a b*****d at 5000, hours of fun. u know what im talking bout:)

the clio 1.2 16v IS twin cam, look at the specs for your car it tells you there. The Corsa 1.2 16v is twin cam as well

Also whats the big deal wiv valvers, THEY ARE OLDCARS NOW!!!

Well Ive gotta admit when I first joined the forum and started reading about these 16V Clios, I thought Id bought a serious rocket...took me a little while to cotton onto the fact that the valver was a 1.8

well i was driving a 1.4 8v 106QS tonite and I assumed that even tho my Clios a 1400 8v too mine is SPi and the QS is MPi therefore I thought the QS would be quicker due to it being MPi - but alas its nasty and slow - Id MUCH RATHER have my little clio! ;)

I smoked him earlier in a race too....maybe hes just a poo driver....heehee tho my car DOES have 5BHP more....;)
