R27 update

Following on from a previous thread

Ive finally managed to complete a few things that i wanted to do on my car

so additions have been

side skirts
cup-spolier
and vinyl'd Carbon Bonnet

carbon Bonnet was done by myself which actually came out alot better than i thought it would, plans are a foot for a proper Full Carbon Bonnet but just enquiring about getting one done in a matt finish rather than gloss, anyway the vinyl one will be staying until the end of Jan and an oulton park trackday is out of the way

not the greatest pics plus the car need a clean, but i think the car looks alot more purposeful and altho the mods are not to everyones taste's still they make my car somewhat different which i like.

Love that the only thing in not to keen on is the wheel style. Would look sweet with a set of black speedlines on though.

bazzon they are on my list! missed out on steve's as i didnt have the funds at the time but the alloys on it now are just trackday/winter wheels sprayed them black myself so not fussed if they get trashed etc

Half way there I think. Wheels look good, though with your spoiler and side skirts you def need the front splitter on it! Personally i'd go back to the LY bonnet, will look really clean and actually quite nice for a LY!

nick the problem is i cant stand the front splitter that renault sell! i mean i know the spoiler and the side skirts aint up to much cop but it just looks so crap to me i cant bring myself to spend 200 notes on it!

Well i think the side skirts look just stuck on, with no real point ? Side skirts upon side skirts don't do it for me. As standard it looks fine.

Bonnet, i think generally its a good idea, but as your have a r27 with graphics already, it doesn't suit, as the r27 graphics are a different shade.

So either, carbon/wrap bonnet with a pure LY car, or r27 graphics and thats it.

fair ennuf dude like i said wont be to everybodys taste just wanted to make it abit different and as people say as long as i like thats all that really matters

got the vinyl of DW group buy cost £55. Gaz is thinking about getting the same stuff so he might be able to get you some cheaper if not im thinking of getting some more and selling the surplus, tis like minimum 5 meter order tho!

kinda see your point mate but this way stops me spunking £400 on a proper one and then me not liking it when it arrives so is kinda a little tester thing not sure a proper gloss bonnet will work anyway.

i also actually like the wheels see abit more brembo but again didnt cost me much and they save my OEM wheels getting trashed by salt this winter etc

fred at BTM mention the exhaust sounds different compared to all others he's drove so wanted to listen to yours to compare, its either blowing or a baffle has gone in one of the cats

cheers ive only had one problem and that was dodgy top engine mount but Renault replaced that straight away, have the old kangeroo moment on start up also

i do believe my car has had replacement recaros and the rear wheels re-furbed by renault due to flaking paint but that was before i got it
