r32 meets 172

me and jon.l met up and hes just bought a mk4 r32 so i took a couple of crappy phone pics and he is insisting i put them on here so he can see them!
tis a lovely car and the power delivery is so different to the 172 its unreal.

the r32 is instant power compared to my old 172 and when i got back into my 172 it felt like it was going nowhere until 5k, its not massivly quicker to 60 but 60 above it would leave it a fair bit i feel. others will disagree though no doubt

Yeah, I know what you mean. I hate having to rape the 182 to go quick the Williams wasn't really like that not having VVT or ought.

Sit at 50-60 on your private runway and then nail them both and you will see the R32 is a fair bit faster.

aye they're roughly 2 seconds quicker from 60 to 100 over the cliosport range on the whole which is a fair amount

There is cam phasing VVT iirc, just doesn't alter lift or duration.
