Yes, so it has a s**t name, however I just got my Beta invite through and had a play tonight. Im fairly awful but the game seems decent, despite the menus not working properly when I have my keyboard plugged in...yes strange I know. I really need a wheel to take advantage of the game, my 360 controller is nasty and makes it really hard work.

Anyone else in the Beta? If so add me to Steam.

Apparently they are giving them out like no-ones business atm, free sign up ofc and the game will be free to play when its out as well, worth a look if you like good looking racing sims

Just signed up and had a little ragg of the Teaser demo and i like . I used to play the GTR games especially GT Legends had some amazing and intense online race's on that.

Liking it so far, looks, sounds, and incredible handling physics. I was always fine playing GTR/GTL with keyboard but think i'd have to invest in a 360 controller for this, Simbin have defo stepped the realism up a notch. Can't get enough of that Hillclimb stage

Was part of the closed Beta, was at one point pretty high in the leader-boards, especially in the hill climb. Its really enjoyable, can't wait for more cars and tracks to drip through, expect world touring cars to be in there sooner rather than later.

Yeah, the online store will go live too. You will be able to spend real money and get more tracks/cars/content.

Cant get enough of the hill climb, only thing i dislike are the physics over the crests. Cars just don't go "that" light on the front as they crest. If they did, some of the higher down force cars would flip.

John - what cars do you get in the hill-climb in the Beta?

You can use any car in the hill climb, the standard hill climb classic car is the Judd v8 BMW thing. however you are ranked in leader boards for what ever car you choose. The lmp1 cars are mad crazy fun up the hill, nothing better than holding tight through a kink at 180 mph to keep you on your toes.

yeah, I use the G27, my triceps have had an epic workout during the Beta test. At one point I had to stop as I though my arms were going to fall off.

Made the missus drive up the hill climb haha quiet funny.

Downloaded it. Crashes as soon as I run it. Sound spazzes out and the Simbin trailer gets through about 2 frames before it gives up.

Finally managed to get it to work. Sorry, but it's a game, not a sim.

That said, it looks and sounds nice I guess, but personally I still prefer Race 07 out of the Simbin titles.

I know what you're saying. I've actually fired up Race 07 this week for the first time in ages with the G25. I've had great fun with the STCC spec Seat Leon going around Donington. I love the skitish/grippy nature of the track and cars. And a little tail-happiness with the BMW.

E30 m3 + Nurburgring = happiness.

The physics aren't spot on but they way it's set up means you can drive stupidly quick and enjoy the experience.
