Racers and trackday people

  Clio 182
ive done a few sessions on track in my pretty much stock clio 182.
First outing the power steering pump blew it's seals.
Other times I've noticed power steering fluid boiling out of the reservoir cap.

Do you get anything like this and does anyone run a fluid cooler.
It's new and fresh fluid I'm running but just normal stuff from motor factors.

What can I do to stop it boiling over?

As far as I'm aware yes all shields are in place.
I drive it pretty hard but no harder than a racer on a long session.

A cooler looks a cheap option with many used available on ebay in various shapes.
It's a case of where is suitable to tap in onto the existing circuit.

I had the PS fluid doing this in my old golf after 20 minutes of fairly easy track use. Not sure why. Haven't had a problem with clios though. Is the reservoir too full? Maybe it's expanding under heat and has nowhere to go.

Hasn't happened to me (touch wood!).
How long are you spending out on track? Are you being smooth with the steering or are you wrestling the car round the track? Have you had tuition?

There must be an underlying fault surely??

I've been on countless trackday's with my clios and lots of other clios, never heard of this issue before?
