Racing seat project

Just thought id share my latest project with you all, im getting pretty wet about colin mcrae dirt 3 coming out soon and wanted to get a steering wheel for it. After looking around I found a semi decent wheel with force feedback called the logitec driving force gt.

I then found these racing seats that you can buy to mount them on abit like this.

Sod paying £300 so I set about making one of my own.

So far I have bagged a bargain off the bay for 2 of these for £80

Then im going to make the rest of the frame work out of 2x2 timber, get it painted up and bobs your fan.ny

Oh and if anyone is intrested in the other seat, PM me lol

looks mint, just need it painting. im shoppin for a steering wheel for ps3 atm, which ones do you rate? how much was yours? are there any i can change the gearstick to different sides?

The only one that was worth getting i was told was the logitec driving force GT. You cant change the side of the gearstick but it has got flappy paddles for gear changes. I payed £75 in argos.
