radio cutting out, now asking for code..

For about a week now, occasionally the radio will suddenly start fizzing really loud, sometimes cuttting out completely. Just got in the car after work, turned the radio on, and its asking for the code?

Could I have a loose connection on the back somwhere, like the radio has acted like the battery has been disconnected?

Yeah, you've either got a bad earth on the stereo earth, or the connector plug is coming undone a little?

You have 2 power feeds into a stereo, continuous (never goes off, keeps memory, stops code) and switched, which is powered by the ignition... The fizzing noise sounds like its not making a proper connection
