rain sensor

hallo,

have clio mk2, I exchanged anterior windshield on account of that the orginal is broke, after the exchange of the sensor lights work but sensor of rain do not work I understood that need to put gel / oil. someone can tell me what the problem and if really needs to put any material before the installation?

some on here have used vaseline i believe. KY gel could also work i guess.

Clear silicone works as well IIRC.
