Raise Ride Height on Ph1 172 using Kangoo 4x4 Springs????

  Clio 172
Afternoon.

I'm looking to raise the front ride height on my road rally Clio PH1 172.

I've been told that springs from a Kangoo 4x4 might lift it up - has anyone ever done this and if so, any idea how much it would raise it by?

I've also heard that fitting diesel springs could also be an option - again has anyone ever done this and if so, any idea how much it would raise it by?

I'm guessing that the 1.9 diesel engine is pretty heavy in comparison to the 2.0 16v so the spring rate maybe comparable?

Any info you can pass on is really appreciated.

  Many.
1.5 dci springs would probs raise it a bit, the engines weigh the same roughly, and obviously the standard DCI sits higher.

Otherwise, your best option is to find somebody with a spring catalog book (I forget what my mates one is) and then have a gander. Thats how a mate of mine raised the back of his Pajeros.
