We'll I've always wanted one (my parents have had 16 of them). So I finally got my arse into gear and bought the roughest cheapest one I could find.

It needs a lot of work but that'll be half the fun of it.

As you can see its in a complete state. I was bought 2 years ago as spares or repair. Since then its had a rebuilt engine, gearbox and suspension. Then oddly it was used for a trip to france and then it was forggoten and used as a run around/work car. Hence it getting in the state its in!

My plans cover everything really:
New grill
Basically full respray
Full leather restoration
New lights
Repair the stereo
Get my plate onto it
Remove the roof rack
New door handles.
Updated sat nav and steering wheel if I get round to it.

That's all for now, I'll update this as things get done. Respray first I think!

  53 Clio's & counting
I was going to say, apart from the stone chips and few scrapes it just needs a bloody good clean! lol

Looks good mate, Josh has just had the front end conversion done on his and it looks amazing.

I had the side conversion done on mine yesterday and it doesn't look amazing.

Respray? You're mental! See a dent/smart repair guy, get him to tidy up the obvious and just give it a serious clean!!!

LOL!

  Turbos.
Has it got the facelift interior?

I wouldn't worry too much about the exterior. My dad's looked really bad after a year's of Polish car washes. A couple of details later, it looked perfect. Front seats would be my biggest worry!

There are scratches down to the aluminium on all the panels. The dirt hides it tbh.

I'll sort the interior out Rob!

Danny it was cheap don't worry.

Yeah its got a 135l LPG tank on it. On LPG its averaging 28mpg.

Its an awesome drive though. So smooth. Bloody slow though!

The other day I gave it some and reset the trip. 2.3mpg on petrol. Ouch....

As for how much, just buy it in spring when I sell it.

That f**king thing now lives in Leeds. German reliability is a myth.

So I buy a german 4x4 lol

What went wrong with the M3 then?

Air bag light, loads of suspension problems, sticking brake callipers, sat nav would randomly die, headlights goin off by them selves, about 1million different rattles, the list goes on!

I'd have another one, if I could find a good one.

Oh dear, i agree you with german = reliability hype.

Thought i'd show off my dad's RR as he is tentatively selling his. After driving a new Cayenne, he's decided the handling is too compromised. To be honest, as much as i love them, i agree. Maybe the new 'un rectifies the issue, but they should have made it handle closer to the Sport. It's a shame, as its a brilliant car otherwise.
