Got a nice rattle in my 2000 plate 1.6 16v.
Am not 100% sure where it's coming from but around the front left of the car (from driving point of view) it sounds like a very metallic rattle and only really happens when lifting off from the throttle. Not sure if it could be the heat shield or engine/gearbox mount?
Car is my daily run around and wanted some advice of what we think the problem is before I start throwing money at it! Any help would be great
