Looking for a Mk1 Clio?
Well basically, i jumped in my "beast" this morning and went to pick my girlfriend up. As i was driving along i heard a little tapping sound over my loud blarring bass of Dr Dre. Confused i turned off my stereo and listened for what it was. As i drove up the dual-carridgeway picking up speed it got louder. As i reved the car it got louder aswell. Finally getting home getting my dad to have a look at it, it got worse and is very loud now. My dad and I checked everything, but found the spark plugs to be loose. Tightening them up we tried again but still it was the same. We think that the "tappets" (if thats the correct word) might be try and there be an oil blockage somewhere. We have checked the oil and it is at the maxed mark where it says.
So im getting my Gf's brother to check it out after he's finished work, (as he's a mechanic) just wondering if you guys might have any suggestions to what it might be or anything.
