rawing noise

Hi i just got 172.on way home i put my foot down and its sounds like a nice induction kit on it.when i got home i looked and its standard.does anyone no why its making.the noise as standard

No air filter inside, holes in the box, leaks in the pipework, sounds like it's had the chav treatment.

Is the cold air feed connected to the box?

The cold air feed was not in the box.it now is.thanks

Lots of people disconnect them for some cheap induction noise, doesnt really make any difference,

yep its the cold air feed unplugged
