RB 182 FF > 182 Trophy

  Titanium 182
Its French, they never keep that much of a value lol

Depends what you want from the car

The Best handling clio - Trophy

Best looking clio, with very good handling - RB Cup/Cup pack

Should have made the trophy in racing blue

lol at this thread! thought you were wanting a civic type R??

Personally I would drive one 1st! I swapped my LCR for mine, I used to have a 172 cup on coilovers and thought that was great - stepped into the trophy and was totally different! alot better by far!!!

I think you should be happy with what you have got! I would love to change the trophy for a new S3, M3, Evo, Focus RS list is endless!!!! But I am more than pleased with what I have got, insurance isn't killing me, running cost are cheap and its great for an everyday car.

Oh and if your ALWAYS worried about mileage..simple - Don't have a car! or get a second car to run around in?! :)

I keep trying to find excuses to go out at any time I can and just drive the bugger!

Yeh you can get bored in a straigh line..but as soon as those twisties come into view...there is a party in my pants!

I like the colour and the novelty, but I think I would find it hard to justify 'upgrading' unless I used the difference and appreciated it constantly.

If I was buying from not already owning a Cup Packed/slightly modded 182 then it would probably be a case of heart ruling head and I wouldn't think twice if I could afford it as they seem and look the best, without even driving one.

But if it's something you want....

Ive used to own a FF182 and now i have the Trophy.
I had never drove a Trophy but i just had to have one after all the hype. Now i wasnt expecting the Trophy to be much different than the FF182 but my god was i wrong!
The handling in the Trophy is a different class to a 'normal' 182, dont get me wrong i loved my old 182, i was gutted when i sold it, but in my FF182 when driven hard it used to understeer and if i kept my foot down it kept understeering, in the Trophy it just doesnt understeer even if you keep your foot planted, it just digs in and keeps going.
As for the looks... the V6 spoiler, Recaros and Turinis look really good on the car :).

trophy plus LSD (not the drug) would probably be the ultimate B road car.

Me and the Wife ran a Trophy and a 182 with Cup Packs last year.

Trophy was definatly harder ride although some of the poor ride was the shocks that were in need of a refurb. 182 now sold & Trophy still on the drive. With an R26 for company.

To be fair most of the differences you will notice on a day to day basis is the stuff thats missing on the Trophy.

There is something about knowing you own the peak of that cars development. Makes me yearn for an R26R sometime but thats just too much of a jump in practicality stakes.
