RB 200 Cup + Cup spoiler

My mate got the correct spoiler fitted yesterday after a dealership mix-up...I think I'm in lurve and now thinking how much I could get for my lovely mint condition well cared for 172 Cup LOL. The 200 Cup's run in now so had a proper run out in it, I want one, badly.

They should do what the did with the 182 and offer a larger spolier of similar appearance to the stock item ala Cup or Trophy/V6. They kept the car looking balanced, the 197/200 spoiler unbalances the car making it look awkward.

Re cup spoiler, like the MK3 as a whole, they never photograph well, but in the flesh they are cool. Did dabble with getting one for mine, but decided against it (for now)

So they've been testing the cup? The packed 200 will drive exactly the same, but has a better driving position. You lose too much for minimal weight loss IMO.

Each to their own. IMO you didn't lose anything important with the 182cup. The 197/200 has an excellent driving position, helped in no small part by the steering wheel adjustability. You lose that with the cup, so for me it would be ff.

Love the 200 and thats the reason i own one. Hate them wheels and the spoiler and thats the reason i dont own them. As said before i think the spoiler is very "halfords stick on rubbish" looking. Its your mates car and if he is happy with it its his choice at the end of the day
