RB182: Sabelt Wheel Fitted

Finally got round to my mates house to get the new RS Sabelt wheel put on. Was quite a chew on but we got there in the end, used two resistors for the airbag connectors, taped the cruise control block up, and for now also taped the horn one up, need to wait til Saturday to get a button from Maplins, then reroute the wire to down near the TC button. One thing we were wondering is if anyone knew what colour the horn wires change to when they connect into the block at the back cause they seem to change colour from one end to the other?? Anyway heres a couple of pictures of it fitted, and a few from the outside which do the car no justice as i just used my BB camera

Also just want to say thanks to 'lambo7' and 'Tom@JMS' for the Wheel and Hubkit, both spot on with delivery etc

Almost forgot... got this bit of kit ready to be fitted as soon as Kam Racing gets the rest of my brake fluid out to me...

Maxtorq Group N front brake discs

Theres a shop that sells brushes and cleaner etc next to Maplins, so im going to pick some up when i pop through on the weekend.

I bought it from Tom@JMS off here, but i think new £149.99+vat the you need to buy a Boss kit which are around £50 new?

You lose drivers airbag, cruise control and your horn (unless you re-wire it).

Cruise control? never heard of it lol ( i've got an old Ph1 which was around before they thought of Cruise control )

Thats the thing i was worrying about, but the look of it suites the car so much that its just gotta be fitted, so when it wear out i think ill just have to get another one

Cheers dude Yeah well ive read mixed reviews on the pads but got a pretty sweet price, so i guess all i can do is just see how they go for now and possibly upgrade to DS2500's in the future.

Make sure you use a brush to restore the suede before it gets too shiny! My OMP Targa is bald now but I think I'll go for the Sabelt soon. Looks mint, suits the car!

Mine is wire bristled!! there not majorly harsh though, designed to lift the suede as it goes flat!!

Be warned, you look a right prick brushing your steering wheel!

I speak form experience!
