The edges of the curve look a bit straight-cut though? Shouldn't they be curved?

Well, yes and no.

There aren't the lines at the bottom of the bumper to distinguish whether it should be a round or straight cut.

I asked the blokes for a straighter cut to look more aggressive, but it looks just as good rounded.
