HI ALL,NEW TO RENAULT CARS,HAVING OWNED A SUBARU IMPREZA PREVIOUS AND LOVED THE CAR BUT NOT THE FUEL COSTS I DECIDED TO GO FOR SOMETHING SMALLER BUT STILL A BIT SPORTY SO AFTER A BIT OF HOME WORK DECIDED ON A 172 PH/2 ON A 51 PLATE FLAME RED FULL SERVICE HISTORY 64K ON THE CLOCK,CAR IS STANDARD APART FROM STAINLESS STEAL LONG LIFE EXHAUST,IVE JUST HAD IT RE-MAPPED TO RUN ON 98,BUT YOU TRY AND FIND 98 IN SOUTHAMPTON,IVE BEEN TOLD BY K-TEC RACING THAT ITS OK TO USE 99 EITHER V POWER OR TESCOS OPTIMAX,LOVE THE CAR JUST WANT TO LOOK AFTER IT.

They run on 98ron as standard anyway. Mine's mapped for 98 and I just use the normal 95 s**t - it loves it.

Mapped to run on 95-99, so why you got it mapped I don't know

All the super-unleaded (99) is fine, it even says on the filler cap that 98 is recommended.

Cheers for the info peeps very informative if thats a word?wil try and post some pics,do love the car ...really even after the scooby abit more fun i think,oh and a lot less fuel,i wil give details on the re map,not to sure whether it makes that much diference time will tell when ive used up all the 95 ron i chucked in it.

I just did the re map for better fuel ec,and a bit more better performance.
