Jack’s Titanium 182

  Clio 182
After buying my second 182 2 and a bit years ago i thought i’d finally start a project thread.

My first 182 was a BG FF with 34k purchased back in 2015. Loved it but had to sell up when I went to uni.

Current car is a Titanium 182 with 104k been a journey to say the least.

Current spec

Cams - Unsure of make as i have no receipt

Miltek exhaust inc decat

Powerflex exhaust mounts

Powerflex engine mount

RS tuner 98 ron map

K-tec coilovers - set up by

Belts done in October last year

New gearbox rebuilt by Agency transmissions this year

Spent thousands already tbh but plans for the future are:

Front end re-spray - was damaged at my old work whilst I was working away - annoying to say the least. Will do both wings and bumper too for completeness.

Turinis- when tyres are due again

Maybe spacers

Re-fresh alcantara

Snappy re-trim

Propper re-map

Windscreen replacement for oem look (purple tint)

Was my daily for two years after falling in love with the marque with my first 182 so this was an easy decision to fall back into, now a weekend toy as I have a van and a company car for daily use.

I need a car cover if anyone has any recommendations as the motorbikes live in the garage!

I haven’t got many great photos, nor am I a photographer but her she is.

Cheers

Jack

Interesting point the attached photo was taken at caffeine and machine (anyone who hasn’t been should go it’s ace). The owner of the EP3 to my left is actually a previous owner of my car and we met by chance, small world.

update:

HT leads went bad so changed and serviced the car with NGK laser iridium plugs, Elf oil and oem Renault filter 4th service with this set up, it’s only been 4,500ish (6-7months) since the last oil change but for £35 odd seems worth it to me.

Misfire troubles continue, but will hopefully be resolved with a new post cat sensor arriving tomorrow.

Completely refurbed gearbox by Agency worcs, new MTL box oil, lightened flywheel (thanks Mark), new clutch and powerflex dogbone to be fitted Thursday when i’m back home by Facture projects - They set up my KTR coilovers up last month.

Also fitted a fatty induction set up/ Marc B battery cover and painted the inlet/fuel rail guard while I was there.

All exciting at the moment. Lost faith in it last week and started looking at Golf R’s/Ed 30’s but a house deposit seems more important as we stand.

Still need the door dings pulled, and a partial front end respray and i’d like to take it to EFI for a remap asap.

Pics are of mine and a friend’s trophy with arch gap differences ?, and an updated shot of the bay.

More to come, thanks

Jack

Car looks good. Really started to appreciate them in silver as I've got older.

Hopefully you don't have a cage put in at what I'm assuming is your work and ruin the car.

It’s a nice colour when polished, hides the grime unlike my previous BG!

No plans for a cage, in all honesty the last thing I want to do at the moment is gear it towards track, as it’s mostly used as a weekend car/daily back up a fast road set up suits me. ?
