Rear Brakes, any ideas?

Hi folks,
Ive just changed the handbrake cables and pads on my rear brakes, after this I bled the brakes and them pushed the pedal the ensure brakes were working as they should. They dont seem to be grabbing the disc like they should and working properly? When I pull the handbrake on they work perfectly, grab the disc very well? I dont understand what could be the issue with them when I push on the brake pedal?
Anyone else had this problem?

Haha yeah I agree and if I cant resolve them not working correctly thats how they will be!
