Rear caliper part

What's the flat connecting bar that connects the sliders on the rear calipers called (yoke?) and what is its purpose? Mine are pretty rusted, are they still a available?

I think it’s just to make sure the sliders move evenly. Can you just use hydrate 80 and spray them? That’s all I did...

I left one over night in deox gel after a wire brushing but it barely touched them. Hydrate 80 was my next plan

You can buy them, they are cheap too.

Part number is 7700310657

Best bet is to just call in to your local Renault and buy them.
