Rear Calipers - Slide Pin

Tried changing the rear pads last night, well looked at it for 10 mins then went to the pub lol.

How do you go about removing the slide plate at the bottom to renew the pads, i cant slide the plate out because the bolt (17mm) holiding the assembly on is in the way, and i cant get the bolt out because the slide is so close i cant get a socket over the end ?

you should be able to use a screwdriver as a drift

Tried that mate, the bollt is phisically in the way, it just knocks against it?

Any other ideas

? knock it the other way.

like out towards the wheel, it works.

screw driver and a hammer and tap it out the way
