My 172 (non cup) has been fitted with aftermarket drilled and grooved discs which is bringing up the ABS light as soon as I pull away, however if I turn off the engine and start it again the light goes off and I can drive with out the light.
The previous owner told me the disc's "weren't designed" to have ABS rings or whatever so the "slip" slightly when you 1st pull away hence the ABS light comes on.
Whats the best solution to this problem? Just buy standard disc's or is there away to attach the rings to the discs to stop the slip?
