Rear Discs On 172 - Whats The Deal?

My 172 51 plate (its it mk2 ph1?) needs some rear discs and pads, but ive just been looking on ebay and in one of the adverts the picture gives the impression you need new rear wheel bearings too? Now i havent taken the wheel off yet to see, so this is just a quick question lol

Buy them from Renault, they come with the bearing pressed in.

If you buy the ones from ebay, you will likely need new bearings, as getting the old ones out will probably f**k em up.

yea non gen discs have no bearings or ABS ring you have to swap them over. but i dont really like that idea.

Yep - you need ABS rings too if you have a FF

Why not have normal discs like everyone else!

Any idea of a cost from Renault?

Think best / cheapest thing is to order them from yozzasport i was going this route but managed to get them through a mate who deals with renault for £140 discs and pads

Have the prices on my desk.
7701204901 rear discs £156.65 Plus VAT
7701207034 rear pads £38.40 Plus VAT
you can use the old rings if you get them off ok

Yep - YS machined my old rings off and put them onto some Bembo Disks

The price i have been quated is probably trade then, think discs were £95 + VAT

Aye they are a tw@t to replace if you just buying discs! Buy em from YS and their ready to go straight on iirc!
