do the rear drums on rts have replaceable bearings ??? as im sure its my rear bearings that are humming, is it possible to take the part i need off to get it replaced without paying through my ass for work at a garage... ?

yes.the bearing just presses in/out of the drum after you remove a circlip.remove the drum so you can get it on a press.

ok so pull wheel off, take cap off the drum and undo bolt or what ever is holding it on then pull the drum off ??? and just take that to a press ?

any idea on bearing prices for drums ?

is it possible to buy new drums with bearings in ?

bearing kit about 30 quid.

And yes, just pop the bare drum off and head off to a place with a press.

Drums with bearings, dont think so.

wheel off, gold centre drum cap off, undo 30m nut and pull off drum.take the drum down to a local garage and theyll probably charge you a fiver just to press it out/in.they might charge you virtually naff all to do the complete job you would have to ask.bearings are about £35.new drums come with bearings but drums are well over a £100 each so just fitting a new drum just isnt economical.
