Rear end doesn't feel connected. New Shocks needed

Read through a couple of other threads of the same thing, most of them quoting rear shock failures. Checked tyre pressures too.

Any decent shocks to go for, not too far on price, considering a sensible drop at the same time too around 30mm.

Looking around on the bay there are numerous amounts of Monroe shock pair at £70 for a pair plus can pick them up in Manchester.

Recently had 2 new PE2 at the front plus considering getting part worn for the rear.

Rambling on if there is any offers in the traders area for rear shocks, and decent springs all round.

Cheers Mat

Shocks will not lower your car. 30mm drop with springs are fine on standard dampers. I'd go for OE shocks and Eibach springs.

I know that shocks won't lower the car as I was going to replace the shocks just thought I'd nail two birds with one stone so to speak.

By lowering at the same time. Just thought if there were any offers going round, if not the bay it is.

Cheers

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
can do various shock and spring packages. Loads of options available for non sport clios, and upgraded dampers are actually worth it on a 1.2

Let me know how you go on with this, I have eibachs on, atm, and its had prob about 2 yrs ago new rear dampers, but I lose confidence in the back, feels light, unplanted like at any moment its going to bite me if that makes sense

Well I've paid a visit to Euro car parts unsure whether it's a forbidden site on here, but they sell Anschler - Sachs (I've heard of in here) - KYB

Anschler @ £63.60 a pair
Sachs @ £70.80 a pair
KYB @ £98.28 a pair

I was thinking around the £70 mark are the Sachs shocks Renault OEM?

As far as a kit I wouldn't want to spend more than £150-200 inc Springs.

Only looking round the 30mm mark only looks tbh just wanna keep ride quality there. IMO alot better than a POV 106 :D.

If you could rustle up a package, in no rush for crimbo but if you can, belting.

As for driving now in the wet I feel like I can get over took by an OAP in a Honda Jazz, just doesn't feel right.
Plus does eibach change the ride comfort wise, as I don't want to be driving a 4-wheeled bouncy castle. :p

Yehh the moment you turn a tighter-than-normal corner my arse cheeks clentch, would be nice to have RWD and keep it going, but hey slap back to reality.

Just found these on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-C...CarParts_SM&hash=item19c74cc291#ht_784wt_1037

Am I best sticking to new parts? When not knowing vehicle history?

Cheers
