Rear heated windscreen

Hi, looked everywhere for the topic, lots of mentions,but usually unanswered.
Can’t believe this isn’t a common issue but the rear de mister has stopped working.
Switch light is on.
Fuse is good.
So any experts give me pointers on the next place to look please?

Broken filament or whatever it is called i.e. the actual metal insdie the glass.

I looked ,even with a magnifying glass,couldn’t see any breaks.
Bought the metal timex kit,just in case it was.
