Rear lights and orange illumination stopped working

Literally half hour ago i was driving back home and there was a funny arcing noise coming from around the passenger footwell, at the same time as the noise my orange interior lights which illuminate my clocks, heating controls, radio were all flashing. It also seemed like every bump i went over controlled this aswell.
When i got home i reversed my car into the garage and noticed that my rear lights wernt working but the break lights were. ??

This is very strange? is there a relay/ecu that controlls the lot? and is this loacated under the passenger footwell

as much info as possible would be great plese

i think there are some relays under the footwell poss a passenger has partially kicked them out the holder
