Rear Shocks?

Can anyone help to diagnose the issue I have with my 172 cup?

The back end just feels dead and the car bounces all over when going over bumpy roads, it also makes loud bangs for the back when going over these bumps. My initial thoughts were possible bushes but after driving it over the last few day I'm thinking the shocks have gone as its quite bad!

Has anyone had similar experiences and what was the cause?

Is it worth replacing both whilst I'm on doing either of them and would it be a good opportunity to get some cooksport springs?

Sounds like could be shocks mine used to jump over bumps,shocks were ok but springs snapped both sides so springs are a good idea anyway

The rear dampers are relatively cheap, and piss easy to change!

​I thought snapped springs might be a possibility, really need to get the car up and checked...It's good to know it's an easy job!
