Rear Stub Axle Question

Hi Everyone,

Hopefully an easy one but just wanted to check before I used brute force.
Should I be able to separate the stub axle from the bracket? I want to take it off to give everything a good clean and paint but I didn't want to break it in the process.

Is it just a case of hitting it really hard or is there a technique to it?

Yes you should

Yeah it will push back through.

Give it a good whack, just don't roll the end of the threads over. Use a bit of wood or a copper mallet.
