Rear tyres losing air, why?

  182
Evening guys, my mate says his rear tyres are losing air, anyone have any ideas why this could be?

Ive mentioned it could be the valves but really not sure.

Id go to a garage and ask them to take the tyre off and re seat the air valves maybe with some sealant or something and have a look for any damage to the tyre and rim.

Turinis? Seen some be so corroded they leak so badly you can hear it, and even see it bubbling by spraying liquid on it

Apparently no damage no, ive pumped them up with a foot pump i had and the valves do seem wobbly if you get what i mean, not sure if thats just in my head though

Could valves be a main reason for air being lost if they are old?

Could it be anything like rear ahocks gone making the ride to hard and push air out or is that not possible?

sounds like rim leak tyres need removeing clean the inside of the wheel where the bead sits and use bead seal cures 90% of the time most places charge £20 a wheel to sort that way.

easyist way to check is take the alloy off the car lay it face down and spray the back side wall of the tyre where it meets the wheel use a water/washing up liquid mix if you see bubbles then uve found it.

See loads of this at my works a good wire brush and some bead seal and things will be fine we charge a tenner a wheel for this service :)
