Reanult £100 for new discs with bearings pressed in, no easier cheaper option IMO.

Yeah i had to do that with my williams they were pretty screwed though. Seems a bit pointless replacing the discs when they have plenty life left in them, Am i right in thinking the 172 rears have abs rings?

Unless you can take the old bearing out, buy a bearing, then have it pressed in (bear in mind you can't use the car while doing this) for less than that go for it, but i can't so buying new discs would be the best option for myself.

Yeah they have ABS ring, they come with them if bought from Renault.

You can get the bearings fairly cheap from GSF/Eurocarparts etc, I had mine changed on my old old discs then bought Renault items when required.

I would only use genuine bearings and you will find that they only cost a fraction more with discs and it make life so much easier.
