Rear wiper gremlins

Good morning all,

Soon as I sort one niggle with the clio, another appears. Latest is that whenever I start the car the rear wiper will run continuously for a few minutes until it turns itself off.

Had a search on here and it doesn't seem there's an obvious solution:

Mine does the same. I've not got around to figuring out why yet.

Annoys the hell out of me. Driving down the road with the rear wiper wagging like a jack russel's tail.

just a thought.... it normally should do that while in reverse...... if its not the stalk. i think it could be something worth checking perhaps?

I've just pulled the fuse for now. Plenty of carlack glass next time i give the car a bath and i'll remove the mechanism (weight saving innit - because racecar )
