Reasonably priced 21.5"/24" Monitors

  Diesel Barge
there was a 21" or 22" on aria.co.uk for around a £100, not sure on the HDMI support tho.

  Better than yours. C*nt.
24", every time. 21.5" is pushing it for 1080p as I thought the smallest FullHD panel was a 24" - but I may be wrong! I'm a few years out on monitors.

Most of the 21.5's are 1080p now but i just dont wanna spend a great deal as it wont get much use.

Will you actually be running anything hd on it?

I mean, pcs dont really display full hd, youtube clips etc really dont!
Unless of course you're running a bluray player.

Would be for use as a second display from my Macbook Pro.

As mbp doesn't have bluray I wouldn't worry about it being 1080hd mate, especially on a screen of that size. Tbh you don't need 1080 on anything below 40' imo!

I've got my mac mini on my planasonic plasma, 1080hd, awesome tv, and it's not using half the screens potential.
