Hi all,

Want to fit the Recaros to my 2002 172 and spoke with Capital seating who say I need to buy the frames and the Slide rails, I have read the guide which mentions that I use the existing slide rails.
Any ideas if I just have to buy the frames and the resistor kit or also the slide rails.

dont waste your money buy these! sit lower and save 600+ pounds :)

Cheers paul i aint in no rush for them but how much did you pay for a pair for your car including the subframes
 
soo they do good find thats cheap! still only 8.00 cheaper LOL - still id rather go to Neil as i know hes sound :)

They feel great imo real Supportive back and what with removing the spacers on the drivers side the seat postion is spot on! you sit in it not on it! :)
 
thats what i want are they low as i wanna be sat low in the seat and in the car feels better and are they comfier than the standard seats in the cup.
 
100% better than standard seats! i wouldnt say the quality is amazing but then again there only 600.00 - people have made comments about recaros quality! and there more than double the price to sit 10mm lower than standard! if you buy daytonas and remove the spacers (which are 15mm) you sit must be gettin on for about 30/40mm lower than standard! ;) im pleased with mine! and the car feels soooo much better! Like a sport should feel like! imo!
 
how do you take the spacers out then i think these are the seats im going to get do the seats tilt forward so i can have people in the back cheers Paul
 
yes they tilt! :approve: the subframes and seats obviously come separeate - its pretty clear when you see them - its just a washer (alu) 15mm socket set and spanner and you can take them out! (as stated by cobra)
 
Im going to have to save up my money and buy a set of these seats they look nice and to what they say are comfy thats what i need i was going to put bucket seats in my car but there a pain rather have the recliners and saves the missus from moaning about how uncomfy the bucket seats are lol
 
well imo they look nice/are figure hugging/hold you in around corner/sit lower so you fell more involved in the drive in the car for value for money there a must have :approve:
