Recaro Trendlines and fitting harnesses

  BG Clio 182
Right got the factory fitted recaros in my 182 and have seen some with harnesses which look awesome!

The car probably won't ever see a track but I still love the look of the harnesses on the seats, especially yellow ones! So question is, without caging the car or doing anything weird to the standard interior, is it possible to fit harnesses? And maybe remove the seat belts or something in the front obviously?

Only an idea though. Don't want to be some sort of super t**t going to mcdonalds in my race harnesses just think for the amount of use the car has which is really minimal, it'd maybe be cool having the harnesses in there?

Cheers :)

Race harnesses, fitted and worn correctly, are not nice on a public road, and short of a harness bar are not going to be correctly fitted. Whilst some people have used the top mount point for the rear middle belt, I wouldn't personally use this to restrain two people, and it'd look a bit daft with just one.

In short, it's not worth it.

It sounds like a good idea until you try to look forward at a junction/take a parking ticket in a carpark!
