Recaro Trendlines:- scrubadubdub

  Alfa 159 TI, 172 Cup
Picked up a pair of Recaro Trendlines locally this week From a Trophy. Decided to give them a good clean before getting them fitted .

All nooks n crannies hovered out with the g-tech hand held & car kit
Quick pass over the Alcantara with a steam mop
Alcantara was cleaned with MER interior cleaner, worked in lightly with a soft brush and left to dwell, reapplied and then wet vac’d.
The leather was cleaned/treated with Zymol leather cleaner ,

Nice to find the protective cellophane from the manufacturer still fitted to the subframe and trophy plaque

Seats are now dry and waiting for fitting on Saturday.

They look like new, well done. Now you just need to buy the rest of the car

Look great. Mine has been like a work van the past few weeks, although i've covered the seats with a combo of hi vis and carrier bags, they need this treatment!

Nice. What happened to the rest of no.470? Is it dead?
No, very much alive and being used as a track slag. The car had 130,000 miles onit and the lad picked it up cheap. He’s sold the wheels aswell, and was considering flogging the sachs dampers but there shot and need a refurb
So after the seats, wheels and possibly the sach that makes for one very cheap 182 Trophy

I don't have a wet vac.. so does anyone have any ideas as to give them a good clean? How do you dry them etc??

I used Carpro Inside on mine to get the worst bits off, then raceglaze alcantara cleaner. Didn't really get that wet, dried naturally okay.
