refurb: were did i go wrong?

recently ive been practising how to refurb alloys..

ive tried a refurb on a spare wheel..

i followed jungle jims guide on here except i finished the refurb in one day as i know alot of people on here do.

Today (2 days later)...when i was taking the wheels centre cap of.. abit of the paint started to peel... were did i go wrong?

Im guessing you didnt prep the wheel properly.

If you havnt cleaned all the lacquer off the alloy first then paint wont stick and will just flicker off.

I have done 4 wheels in the space of 5hours, and they were all perfect, no paint flickering etc, its all in the prep work.
