Remap for a 1.6 GT

Ya not worth it etc etc, i know what you'll all say.

HOWEVER. While I know power will be increased by a massive 3bhp or so, i was wodnering if the torque could be dragged out any further. I have a massive torque drop at 4k and the climb to 7K is just revs and unless its cold weather, it gets very boring.

My main interest is not so much power increase at peak, but an increase at low revs and an increase at higher revs if that makes sense. Will a remap achieve this?

A map wouldnt hurt mate, probably will smooth out the problems you have, have a chat with a tuner of your choice,see what they offer

you gain more from a remap on a K4M than you do on an F4R, worth it.

you wont gain much in peak but more low down/mid range where its needed

Yeah thats where i really want it. The torque drop is a big let down really, its like undressing a woman up to 4000rpm, then at 4500, only to find she has no tits. Ill be using Rs tuning due to reputation and because of "accurate" RR figures. Dont want some ego boosting RR result lol.

Its after peak torque thats a problem too.
