Remove Mk1 Door panel

Hey guys, im new here so be kind lol

I've got a 1996 Clio Mk1, to which im trying to fit my new set of component speakers to the front doors, however i cant for the life of me get the Window winder handles off - some people have told me just to pull, others say theres a clip (which i cant see) So its getting very fustrating now - they wont come off

So if anyone could suggest something i'd be very greatful - cheers guys!

id guess theres a cap and a screw... or its a piece of string and a spring...but i have a lecy window model...sorry mate.

Hmm i thought maybe part of the handle may have come off to reveal some sort of hex screw or something, but its all one solid bit of plastic.

its driving me crazy - it wont take me long to fit the speakers, as i've done my mates before - luckily his handles just pulled off tho - grr
