Removing 172 Windows/Tints

Anyone know how difficult this is to do? Take out the windows?

Got some really tacky tints on the car, and wouldn't mind taking them off this week. Think it's a window out job though!

Also, how hard are tints to remove?

Cheers

its easy justin, from one of the edges of the window, where it starts. peel it off, go slowly other it will break up in bits. do it slow to remove it all in one piece, then once removed, clean your window with that adhesive s**t from halfords.

i removed all mine from my old 1.2 in minutes

Are tints not majorly stuck on with really strong adhesive?

Just realised I put this in the wrong place.. oops!

dont take them out. if worse comes to worse, which it shouldnt then take them out. but really no need.

a good tip would be to get your missus to start the peeling process ;) long sharp nails. start from the top, work your way down.

Use a hairdryer to heat the glue is what ive heard from some of my mates, Who have had to take theres off.

Use a stanley blade to lift the edges as well.

Flat stanley blade (not on rear screen) and some Tar and Adhesive remover will cleaner up the left overs.

i had to do them before. used a blade to get it started and then you can just peel them all back. use some whitespirit or intensive tar remover to soften the glue then just scrape it all off with another blade.
