what does it do once removed and where issit>?

Makes the engine note louder. IIRC Renault fitted it to comply with dB regulations and so once removed your induction roar increases.

just make sure you block the vac hose that connects to the head, just cut it short of the head an seal the end,

Its a pice of piss.

Passenger wheel off, wheel arch liner out, Acoustic valve out.

Sorted.

Idles poorly if you don't do whats been noted below

Nope.

Another reason its better than the fat ph2.

No, that'll be your idle valve.

nope, this is the crankcase breather..

It's the one that connects below-in front of the TB, front side .. (see if i can find a pic) But anyway ! just pull the tube from the valve and stick a screw in the end..(tad oversize so its a tight fit) job done

it will store a fault code on your ecu if you remove, but no lights or anything
