Removing bird poo marks

Washed my car today (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?p=4008030#post4008030) and it had a couple of bird poo's on it which obvously came off ok with water but when drying I noticed they had all made a mark on my paint! I first just tired SRP with no luck, then Paint Renovator with the same results Whats the best thing to get these marks off?

not sure about the marks however when you first notice a bird has gona for a dump on your car place a kitchen tissue over it and soak this in water...continue soaking and after a little bit wipe if off and voila...no more bird droppings.

Not sure what to suggest as AG Paint Renovator by hand even is a fairly abrasive, any pics of the actual damage?

A machine polish or wet sand will be needed if the etching is deep.
