But no, seriously, I undid the bumper from the wheel arch and removed the splash guards etc then i could reach down behind the bumper and access the washers. Not sure if there's room for this on a 182 though.

Apart from carbon cannister and horns there shouldnt be anything else in the way... so possible

I would of told him they were, I thought they were.

One of mine was not straight, so I straightened it by hand, it didn't feel bolted to anything.
