Removing Dampers - Thread Lock?

  Trophy #240/R33 GTST
Did a search but couldn't find anything conclusive.

If you remove your front dampers i saw someone say you should use some sort of thread lock when you put them back on.

Is this correct? and is this only for the bolts that connect the bottom of the damper to the hub?

Torque settings i also seemed to have found say 140 Nm for standard suspension
and 180 for us sachs boys. Top ones are just done up until they stop?

All this sound about right?

Thanks

Ed

I did the same as Aluco and just made sure they were done up tight, wouldn't fancy using thread lock on them though because if they ever needed removing again you're going to have a right job undoing them.
