Removing door card on mk2 172

I've got a rattle around the dorrhandle area that's really pissing me off. It's there at idle, it's there when I accelerate, argh! I've had a go in the past to remove the door card but I've not had the courage to pull it too hard in case I break something...

I know I'm doing something wrong. What's the procedure for removing the inside panel on the door? Are there screws/clips/etc to remove? Or is brute force required?

Cheers

you wont break it ive taken mine off more times that i can count

take off the back panel to the wing mirror, take off the back panel to the B pillar (but be carefull with the poppers as these do break if u put them back on too hard).

you need to sizes of torque screw

big one for the door handle and the smaller one (4mm/5mm afaik) for the 4 screws at the bottom of the door card and the one inside the door handle where the electric light switch is

once all that is done, get your hands on each bottom corner and pull up

there will be a couple of pops and glue but thats fine

easy job - id trust my girlfriend to do it lol

I reference it in the interior guide I did as really waht was the point in me repeating it and it wouldnt have been as good quality!

Cheers for the replies.

Now my only worry is that the door card will actually rattle MORE after I take it off and replace it, lol. Anyone know what it is that usually rattles/vibrates around the inside of the interior door handle area? I'm planning just to stick everying back together with a bit of silicone sealant to stop and vibrations...
