removing glue and tape from my paint?

Hi

Stupid me, iv been getting things painted over the last week and i put a black bag over where the spoiler was to try and protect the wires from getting wet and taped it in place. but me being a useless noob i use tape that was to sticky and in the sun :dapprove: it wasnt a good idea.

Now its stuck to my paint, any advice on getting it off?

White spirit/meths is probably the simplist.

But that will strip any wax or sealant etc off your paint.

Warm it with a hair dryer.

Sticky stuff remover or WD40 work well

Auto Tardis is what you need, Removes Tar,Glue,Sticky residues etc etc.

Cheers Lads, do they effect the paint or the lacquer at all?

Autoglym is safe for your paint.. If you use it give it some protection i.e. a wax after as it will strip any wax that was on it before.

i aint waxed my car since iv got it, duno if there is any on there
